Having problems with your Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher ?
Dishwasher I have a whirlpool dishwasher that does not appear to be getting hot water. The washer water is cold initially and only seems to get warm once the heater in the base of the machine heats it. The hot water supply line does not get hot so I presume no water is being supplied. Is the water supposed to be hot at the start. If yes could this be caused be a faulty inlet valve and if so how can I check. The dishes are dirty especially on the top rack.
Thanks for your help.
Gendos is on track with his question. I have the same dishwasher and it doesn't get enough hot water to clean the dishes and runs for hours because the heating element wasn't designed to heat water, just maintain it. The only solution we have found is to run the hot water from the kitchen faucet before we start the dishwasher. The only long term solution is to install a circulation pump on your hot water line, or find a dishwasher that pre-heats the water.
Wash water isn't hot even after we run hot water in sink before turning on dish water. However rinse water is hot. It appears the heating element is not working on wash but is on rinse?

I have a Delonghi dishwasher, it's a stand alone, like a washing machine. The water inlet is connected to the hot water tap, normally used for a washing machine. When we first started using the dishwasher, we kept getting the E4 error message, we reduced the water inlet pressure by turning down the tap, that worked for a while. Just a while ago, we started getting the E4 error message again, not sure we can turn down the tap any further without cutting the water off completely. Do you have a

Our Whirlpool KUDP01ILBS2 dishwasher isn't working like it used to. Dishes seem to be getting partially clean, they aren't getting dry at all and it seems they may be being rinsed/washed with dirty water. There is plenty of water in the machine when I interupt the cleaning cycle. I always run the hot water in the sink before I start the dishwasher so the first water into the dishwasher is as hot as possible. Also the sani-rinse light is flashing when the cycle "completes".

It appears that the dishwasher is not getting enough water. I have made sure that there is nothing blocking the door area so that the soap can dispense and I have reduced the amount of detergent to maybe a 1/2 Tablespoon. Have tried both powder and liquid detergents. Ran a sani clean cycle with the Jet Dry product for dishwasher used in the rural. I also run the hot water in the sink prior to starting the dishwasher to ensure the water is hot when it comes into the dishwasher. The detergent

FDW60 Fault Hi, I have exactly the same problem. My dishwasher starts and washes ok but appears to get very hot during the drying phase and then the two lights fast and eco flash warning of a heater problem. I suspect either the heater, thermostat or control PCB. As the rest of the cycle seems of and the water gets hot then I'm assuming the heater and thermostat are OK. When the dishwasher attempts to dry is when the problem starts. Did anyone find out what there fault was? Thanks

My Bosch diswasher is hanging up in the cycle (at 102 mins. in normal cycle and 38 mins in quick cycle). I hear what sounds like a one second pumping of water into the sink area, a pause, and then another one second pumping of water, on and on, but there's no progression beyond this point. One possible cause: a few weeks ago someone turned off the hot water at the heater and another person tried to run the dishwasher. The dishwasher did not function because it could not get hot water. I have a Blanco Dishwasher Model BFDWC65X. It appears that the thermostat may be faulty as the water gets extremely hot on cycle 3 which is supposed to operate at 45 degrees centigrade. BF41 Dishwasher with a leak stuck in mid cycle Hi, I have a 'general domestic Appliance Ltd' BF41 (95+G709394) dishwasher which recently started leaking at the door. After replacing the seal the problem seemed to ease, then recently the problem started all over again and the leaking got worse. We have a Whirlpool ADP962 Dishwasher that will not fill. I replaced the inlet hose as I thought the solenoid was faulty. It's gone a step further and now sounds like it fills (continuously) however it soon drains without any water entering the dishwashing compartment (this remains dry). I believe this issue was caused by running it through a cycle without the water mains turned on. Any ideas?

I have a Whirlpool which just recently started leaking from the door occasionally and it is most unpredictable. It eventually stops, but before it does it will deposit about a pint of water. I have replaced the float and the float switch, thinking those were the cheapest parts and perhaps the switch was faulty and letting too much water in. That did not work. I have an Electrolux ESI 6104x. Regularly just after starting the dishwasher as it starts to fill for the first time the water inlet cuts out. If you turn the water off at the mains disconnect the inlet pipe (spilling a bit of water in the process) reconnect the inlet pipe and turn the water back on the dishwasher fills and runs perfectly. This fault used to happen occasionally and now happens regularly.
