I have a GU1500XTLB1, type-575-0 Whirlpool Gold dishwasher. For the last couple of weeks I've been getting the control lock on. I got the manual out, I hold the air dry button and it clears. My problem is now when I turn the machine on dosen't matter which cycle I hit (pots and pans, normal, or quick wash) it runs for about 5 minutes and it goes into a mode with the timer having lines going horizontal with the air dry button lit up and rinse button lit up. It sounds like it starts the cycle

After wash, the leds for OPTIONS high temp wash and dry cycle start blinking and do not stop blinking until I hit cancel - which cancels everything. Open unit and water sitting in bottom. Is it a bad operator panel? Water pump did seem to be working during wash cycle. NEED HELP.

I have a Kitchenaid Dishwasher M/N KUDS25SHWHO. Had to replace the control board because the unit would not start. Installed the new board and the unit now operates, but not correctly. Once in awhile on the Normal cycle, it will get a third of the way through the cycle and just stop. Used to be, you could hit any of the Wash Selection buttons and than any of the Options butons and then hit the Start button to begin the cycle. Now, as soon as you hit one of the Wash Selection buttons, the un

I have a kitchenaid dishwasher model kuds24se with a problem. I MUST hit cancel before I hit start. Note that it doesn't matter how long it's been since the last cycle. It could be a few minutes or a day or more. I have to hit start to get a complete wash cycle. If I don't hit cancel, the washer goes through some sort of cycle and stops. It seems like a normal cycle but of course it is not because I don't hear any water and, upon completion, when I open the door there is heat but the soap dispen

Whirlpool GU2300 built in Dishwasher. It rather suddenly began shutting off in mid-cycle. If I cancel or open it, getting it to finish the cycle or even drain takes many tries.Once started, the cycle might take several hours with long pauses during the cycle. When it puases, none of the lights are on at all. If the cycle is disturbed, the normal wash light blinks, and if I hit cancel, the cancel light and the normal wash light blink.

When dishwasher is set to begin, sensor takes very long period of time. Cycles are longer than minutes indicated. Dishwasher fills with water but does not wash. Water then drains as though cycle is complete and moves to next cycle. Then the process continues. When cycle for drying is reached, much heat is given and occasionally it smells as though there is burning. A 82 minute procedure turns into hours.

Anyone have experience with a Fisher Paykel double draw dishwasher (model DD24) getting stuck in wash mode? Once it hits exactly 48 minutes it stays there. Only several hours later it cycles through OR you have to turn it off put it in rinse mode to complete. Already tried all the basics (unplugging, no fault codes, cycled through the diagnostics everything good and working). Did the quick diagnostic cycle of 14 minutes and everything cycled through fine. Next step will be to put the bottom cont

Regarding Maytag Dishwasher, model # mdb4651aww3. Most of the lights on the control panel will not light up. You can't change cycles or set the delay timer etc. You can hit the start button and it runs a perfect cycle, and ends up with clean dishes. You just have no idea what cycle it runs.

I have same problem with my Maytag. Had a repair guy come out and he said it's the 'controller card', not the button touchpanel. The controller card is $127 and not in stock and there's a 'several month wait'. I'm not going to wait, going to buy ... Maytag 24 in. MDB4651A Built-in Dishwasher

My smeg dishwasher seems to be permanently in wash mode. The light on the menu of settings no longer flashes, but permanently is on, and when I run a load it never stops. I hear the two beeps as if the dishwasher is starting a load so it seems to be cycling through over and over. How can I fix this and get the blinking light back? Thanks

My Bosch SHE45M built-in dishwasher is suddenly taking an extra-long time to go through its cycles. On Regular wash it will countdown from 117 minutes to 31 minutes. When it hits that time it resets to 87 minutes, then counts down to 1 minute and will not stop. I have to hit the cancel-reset buttons for it to drain. I have tried to do a hard reset by cutting the power at the breaker for 20 minutes or more. I'm interested in potential parts and a description of how to fit it! Thanks in advance.

PDW9280J10SS dishwasher has been in use for about 3 years. The control panel is not working properly. I use the up/down arrows and it turns on heated dry etc. When I push the heated dry button, it changes the lights to the different cycles (which is what the arrow keys used to do). The normal wash light won't come on, the only setting that seems to wash a full cylce is antibacterial. It seems like something burned out. What should I be looking at as a possible cause/fix. Dishwasher runs for appx 14 min & stops washing half way thru wash cycle. Timer contunies to run. No drain pump out (nothing). Let dishwasher set idle for appx 1 hour and it will re-set. Set timer forward to end of wash cycle and it will complete rinse and final rinse. Then go to dry. Timer works ok.

This sounds like something is stuck in the drain pump. You can remove the inner cover to look for obstructions. You have a dual purpose motor it does the both circulating and draining. The blockage is causing it to overheat and trip the thermal prote ... Whirlpool DU840CWD Dishwasher

My 2008 frigidaire 24" dishwasher model #FDB1050REC is not washing during the cycle. Dishwasher makes grinding noise during wash cycle (after pre-wash). noise persists for 15-20 minutes. It seems as though the inlet valve doesn't open during this phase of the cycle. adding water to the dishwasher manually eliminates the noise and water circulates through the wash arms. I'm trying to determine if this is a controller issue or a valve/pump issue.

I have a kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher, Model 15825691. We were recently hit by lighting. Once hit, the dishwasher started up. Since then, all cycles work, however, at the end of any cycle, the dishwasher continues to run and fill the bottom of the washer up to about two inches and then cuts off, so when we open the washer, there is approx 2 inches of water inside no matter what. Dishwasher (Whirlpool Model DU930PWQ0) won't pump out. Problem occurred after door was opened during a cycle. Then the pump-out function ceased to work. Washer fills and pumps correctly during the wash cycle. Any suggestions? My guess is that the electronic control may be faulty and it is not opening the solenoid valve for the drain cycle.
