I have a 2 year old Electrolux ESL 63010 dishwasher, and it worked perfect until a few days ago, when it did not wash cleanly and the dishes came out cold. I read a few forums and it seemed to indicate the heating element. So I ordered one a fitted it, but still the water is not getting hot, or drying the dishes after the complete cycle. I have done a visual check of the PCB board, which looks clean and good. No error sounds, and it completes all programs, but with cold water and no drying. W

Do these 'portable' dishwashers 'heat' water prior to washing? i have customer complaining bout the dishes not coming clean..yet the water entering the dishwasher is cold, does not appear to heat water prior to washing.

Most dishwashers require a minimum 120 degree inlet water temp. The heating element will boost this up during the main wash cycle to aprox 140. Do not hook a dishwasher up to inlet water temps above 150. ... GE Hotpoint HDA3500N Dishwasher

Machine does not heat up. The water remains cold and the cycle takes hours irrespective of the setting temp. Heater seems to be OK and a tech guy repleced the sensor today as he thought that was the problem after everything else seemed to checkout ok but still no go. It has already cost us 200 dollars and I dont want to keep spending money having tech guys guessing the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks

My dish washer is 4 years old and is not cleaning dishes or disolving soap. HO appears in the status window which my manuel says indicates a water heat delay. How can this water heat delay be repaired ? I couldn't find my actual dishwasher on your list. It is model FDB2810LDC1 multi speed precision direct wash system with speed clean technology.

The water heat delay indication could be caused by the fact that the heating element has failed so that the washer will not proceed with the wash program until the water is up to the correct temperature. Purchased in 2003. Dishes were exquisitly clean till 2008. Our water heater temp was set at 140 temp. This heater was replaced with a heater now set at 125 temp. In the past two years dishes are nowhere as clean on the the normal start setting. Should I go to the Pots and Pans start setting to get hotter water or should I turn up my water heater? All this is assuming that water is not hot enough. Does the washer heating element ever burn out?

Try turning on your water at the sink for a while on hot let it run then start the wash cycle that should help. what that will do is let the cold water run out of the pipes and therefore you will have a hot water start. ... Kenmore Dishwashers

My Omega Eurolux Dishwasher (mode: DW211P/1) won't stop cycling, It sems to get stuck during the wash cycle and continues for hours, until I turn it off. If I turn the dial to rinse it rinses fine. When I open the door mid wash cycle the element is cold to touch.

Believing to be a problem with water heating I tried putting a couple large pan fulls of boiling water into machine during wash cycle and this did move it on from wash to rinse. How do I replace the heating element I cant see it it is not in the dish washing compartment? I dont want to call out a repair agent as one can probably buy a new machine for what that will cost. Thank you.

Our Kitchenaide KUDT03FTSS2 dishwasher is not cleaning the dishes like it did when it was new. It doesn't appear to dry the interior and leaves gunk inside, and is noisier than it was when we purchased about 3 years ago. It does not appear to be heating the water - we put a thermometer in there and it read 118. The water out of our tap is hotter than that. The rinse aid has been filled regularly. What should we look for?

Dishwasher I have a whirlpool dishwasher that does not appear to be getting hot water. The washer water is cold initially and only seems to get warm once the heater in the base of the machine heats it. The hot water supply line does not get hot so I presume no water is being supplied. Is the water supposed to be hot at the start. If yes could this be caused be a faulty inlet valve and if so how can I check. The dishes are dirty especially on the top rack. Thanks for your help.
