When dishwasher is set to begin, sensor takes very long period of time. Cycles are longer than minutes indicated. Dishwasher fills with water but does not wash. Water then drains as though cycle is complete and moves to next cycle. Then the process continues. When cycle for drying is reached, much heat is given and occasionally it smells as though there is burning. A 82 minute procedure turns into hours.

We have to hold down the start button to force it to go to the end of the cycle and the the lights stop. If we do that we can then use the dishwasher the next time, but only after we force it to go to

This will not allow the washer to go into the next cycle or into the dry cycle. This I guess would be the shut down mode allowing the built up heat to dry off the plates and glasses.

Bosch dishwasher, Model SMU 7056, UC 09, FD 7309. My older unit has operated flawlessly for years. Two days ago it started to "stall" in one cycle and not progress to the next, e.g., stayed in the wash cycle and would not move on to rinse. In addition the heat generated in the machine was way below normal. A repairman told me that if the water doesn't get hot enough, the unit will not move on to the next cycle. I always use the "Regular Wash" option, but tried other options such as 'Economy

Westinghouse Virtuoso 922 dishwasher. Wash cycle completes, but water does not drain out. If I let the cycle continue, after a delay the rinse cycle starts, but of course no clean water is pumped in so the dishes are "rinsed" in the dirty wash water. The wash cycle itself is successful with water pumping all around the washer if I open the door mid-cycle. I have removed and cleaned all filters which were correctly fitted so I am confident there is no foreign matter inside pump. When the water sh

I have an Asko w66 front load washing machine that will only wash one way with a 60 second time delay and washes the same way again instead of reversing. At no time will it wash the other way. At the first spin cycle the water is pumped out but the wash drum will not spin. The pump continues to pump and will not stop while the one way wash continues. The timer stops at this point with the one way wash and pump still pumping continuously.

I have an asko D3450 dishwasher. Washer makes buzzing/humming noise at start of cycle and then randomly through cycle. I checked the sump and pump appears to be clean and impeller spins freely. The cycle seems to work ok. Water is pumping out ok. If you open the door to stop the cycle, the buzzing will continue for a few minutes then stop. If the cycle is restart, the buzzing starts again. The dishwasher pump sounds like it is trying to drain, even when the stop button is pressed and the door is opened. The only thing that stops it is turning the power off at the power point. However, when the power is turned on the pump continues. The wash cycle icon flashes, but the usual cycle indicator is not lit at all. The dishwasher will not commence a new cycle.
