Hi I have a Neff built in dishwasher s5453X1GB/70 about 4 years old. Never had a problem before. Came downstairs last night to find the kitchen floor flooded. Water also still in machine. But must have been near end of cycle as plates all clean. I have read other links and opened pump compartment in centre of machine and syringed out all water and cleaned fan. When i switch on machine it is still making odd humming noise (emptying cycle?) I have read about anti -flood valve etc. Any more tip

Whirlpool DWF417W, Type 12155 A couple of weeks ago the machine failed to empty, leaving dirty water in the machine at the end of the cycle. Start a new program it emptied & all was then well. A couple of days ago we started a wash cycle as normal, shut the door, the pump normally runs for about 10 seconds then the cycle starts. However the pump just runs continuously?? After looking here there seemed to be a few links to the subject of water being in the base & the anti flood switch being ac

I have a Miele 24 in. G638 Plus Free-standing Dishwasher which is leaking into the pan underneath the machine (and triggering the polystyrene float switch) I am almost certain that the leak is coming from the main pump seal. Is it feasible to replace the seal (it looks like a major job to take the pump assembly apart). I guess Miele labor charges would make the repair not worthwhile Is there a service manual for this machine. I guess I would need it

I have a Bosch SGS66E02GB/45 that no longer completes a wash cycle. On "Auto 50C" time counts down from 2:58 to about 1:40 then goes back to the beginnnig and repeats. Spray arms are moving, it fills and drains, detergent is dispensed. I have checked the inlet and outlet pipes, the impellor and non-return-valve in the sump, checked the matrix is clear, checked to anti-flood float and switch and replaced the relays on the PCB. I have a DU8000XX6 series Kenmore dishwasher that won't drain the water properly. There is about a half inch of water in the tub and the float is raised (not sitting on tub bottom). When I lift up the float a little more I can hear the float switch make. I would assume that when the water is high enough the float switch makes and energizes a solenoid valve in the drain to drain the water, but shouldn't it stay open until all the water drains? I have a very old domestic Hobart dishwasher. The micro switch that is controlled by the float on the inside left of the machine has malfunctioned . I believe that this micro switch controls the "water in" valve/solenoid. It's ID = UNIMAX 2TMT2002 4 Y , 10 amp-1/4hp 125-250VAC. It's an odd switch as it's lever is about 25mm long and has a paddle on the end to line up with the plunger comming through from the float inside the machine. It also only has 2 prongs for connection and 2 holes fo
