FDW60 Fault Hi, I have exactly the same problem. My dishwasher starts and washes ok but appears to get very hot during the drying phase and then the two lights fast and eco flash warning of a heater problem. I suspect either the heater, thermostat or control PCB. As the rest of the cycle seems of and the water gets hot then I'm assuming the heater and thermostat are OK. When the dishwasher attempts to dry is when the problem starts. Did anyone find out what there fault was? Thanks

Our Whirlpool KUDP01ILBS2 dishwasher isn't working like it used to. Dishes seem to be getting partially clean, they aren't getting dry at all and it seems they may be being rinsed/washed with dirty water. There is plenty of water in the machine when I interupt the cleaning cycle. I always run the hot water in the sink before I start the dishwasher so the first water into the dishwasher is as hot as possible. Also the sani-rinse light is flashing when the cycle "completes".
Heat that is retained in the dishes is largely responsible for drying\015\012in this dishwasher. Since plastics do not retain heat very well, they\015\012will not dry as well as glasses, ceramics or metal dishes. Rinse aid\015\012must be used so that ... Dishwashers
It appears that the dishwasher is not getting enough water. I have made sure that there is nothing blocking the door area so that the soap can dispense and I have reduced the amount of detergent to maybe a 1/2 Tablespoon. Have tried both powder and liquid detergents. Ran a sani clean cycle with the Jet Dry product for dishwasher used in the rural. I also run the hot water in the sink prior to starting the dishwasher to ensure the water is hot when it comes into the dishwasher. The detergent

Even though I turned up the thermostat on my hot water heater, the water in the dishwasher does not seem to be hot enough. Mold is growing in the food grinder and even though I choose the heat dry option, the dishes are never dry. Yet, when I touched the element, I got burned. The dishes are not getting clean because it doesn't seem to be hot enough to cut the grease.

We have a Miele dishwasher. We've had a technician come because the water is not hot enough; the dishes are not dried when we empty it as a matter of fact glasses are stained and wet. After he left, the problems remained. :( We now have an additional problem. We have mildew in our dishwasher!!!!! WE wash dishes daily. WHY do we have these problems? Can we get a technician to resolve these problems permanently? Should we buy another brand?
I may be just repeating what the technician has done, please bear with me. Check first if the heating element inside the dishwasher is heating up to the temperature it is supposed to. You can do a manual inspection just to figure out. It may be a ... Miele Dishwashers
We have a miele G665 SC dishwasher. Cycle is fine but when it starts drying water now comes out of the vent on the front of the machine where previously all we'd get was hot air. It creates quite a puddle of water so it's not just the hot air condensating it's more than that. Hope you can help. Regards Paul

I have a 2 year old Electrolux ESL 63010 dishwasher, and it worked perfect until a few days ago, when it did not wash cleanly and the dishes came out cold. I read a few forums and it seemed to indicate the heating element. So I ordered one a fitted it, but still the water is not getting hot, or drying the dishes after the complete cycle. I have done a visual check of the PCB board, which looks clean and good. No error sounds, and it completes all programs, but with cold water and no drying. W

I have a GE 24 in. ZBD0710KSS Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher. We turned it on last night and this morning found it on, hot, and making beeping noises. It seemed to have gotten stuck in the dry cycle. I have turned the breaker off. The inside did get hot, because a small aluminum cup turned from aluminum color to black. What should I check?

I have had a repairman come out and look at this and he says all the diagnostic test say everything is okay. My problem: my dishes come out dripping wet...like it hasnt dried anything. Sometimes dishes are still dirty. I don't think there is any heat getting to anything. I run the water in the sink beforehand to try to get the water hot. I used this dishwasher for 1-1/2 years with no problems and now I have this problem. What is going on?

Dishwasher I have a whirlpool dishwasher that does not appear to be getting hot water. The washer water is cold initially and only seems to get warm once the heater in the base of the machine heats it. The hot water supply line does not get hot so I presume no water is being supplied. Is the water supposed to be hot at the start. If yes could this be caused be a faulty inlet valve and if so how can I check. The dishes are dirty especially on the top rack. Thanks for your help. We live in an apartment and our hot point dishwashers timing is all off and i thought if i could fix it myself, i'd love to do that instead of calling our manager, i will call him, but if its an easy fix i'd like to try it out.. it will just stop in mid cycle, and you have to manually more it a fraction of an inch to get it restarted, then at the end it doesnt fully drain, and the drying takes forever, so if i cant fix it, i'll ask for a new one..
It might need a new mechanical timer (sounds like the timer is sticking) installed and the parts will cost money... so you might want to go the route of the manager. The dial that you turn to set the dishwasher is part of the mechanical timer. Someti ... Dishwashers

I've checked the control board for any dry joints / damage etc - Nothing evident. Is there a wiring schematic available so I can check the voltage to the heater to confirm its the heater thats the problem before I purchase spares.
