Item: Whirlpool Ultra Dishwasher Age: 3 yrs Problem: Not enough water to effectively wash the dishes. State: When the dishwasher is started, the fill valve opens as normal. Only about 1/2 the amount of water is let in when the pump turns on and the washing cycle begins. Opening the door shows that the water level does not reach the bottom of the float. When I close the door, the wash cycle begins again but stops after a few seconds. This is when the water begins to fill again. This time, the wat

Dish washer is seldom used , maybe twice a year. Notice during a drain cycle that the pump makes a squaling noise. This happens only after the load of the water has pass through the pump. The dishwasher is a boush,is there impeller style pump? Maybe dry rot ?
The pump impeller is probably plastic -- if so, dry rot is out.\015\012\015\012Most likely the pump shaft is just dry from lack of use. More use will probably wet it enough to stop the squeal.\015\012\015\012Charlie ... Bosch 24 in. SHU66C05 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

I have an Asko 1585 dishwasher. It drops the inlet valve on step (step 12), and the recirculation pump (next step) tries to pump with no water. Later at about step 47, the inlet valve begins to work again and the dishwasher finishes the cycle without a problem. I have had the board checked, and all of the power supply and transfer circuits are good. That leaves the processor. Is there any combination of buttons to press which can completely reset the controller board?

We have a Bosch SHE45M06UC/50 dishwasher that is acting a bit nutty, first of all the timers are all wrong, mostly too short for what the manual says except the quick cycle and it is too long. There is on some cycles a very long delay before it begins to fill and it seems to alternate between pumping and running randomly

Turns on, the entire cycle runs, but no water pumps through the sprayer. There is water present on the bottom....and I can here the water pumping in at the beginning of the cyle....but the dishes are not being 'washed' by the sprayers. I have disassembled and cleaned the entire inside and sprayers to no avail. Im thinking its a pump/motor issue but Im not sure because the sprayers spin, the heat comes on, the detergent dispenses....but no water is being sprayed. Thanks.

I have an ASKO D3250 and it has recently started making a loud noise from the pump area. It starts as soon as the cycle begins and doesn't stop even if you open the door. It seems to stop about 90 seconds into the cycle. Noise is best described as a noisy solenoid but could also be some sort of actuator that is stuck. What part is the problem?

We've got an Meile Incognito dishwasher, model G 843 SCVi plus. It purges at the begining of the cycle and then seems to fill with water, but then the red Intake/Drain light starts to flash and the cycle goes no further. Good Afternoon We have a Kleenmaid DW8 dishwasher. At the beginning of the cycle, it will pump out the water, sit idle for a short time and then show the end light, without washing or any further action. A technician came to visit and had a brief look. A follow up call came from his company stating that the circuit board had a crack in it. It would require a new circuit board ($650), the dishwasher to be taken to the workshop and repaired ($150). Upon further investigation, the circuit board had
I have a Kitchenaid KUDK03CTSS2. It goes about half way through the entire cycle, let's say half hour in and then it sits there buzzing/droning for at least 30-40 minutes, then it finishes fine. Had a service guy in and he would't wait for the symptoms to appear. Everything is good at the beginning. He replaced the pump motor, didn't find any debris in the unit. But it's still doing the same thing.

Hello, I have a CONSTRUCTA S9W1C dishwasher with aquastop. Unfortunately, I tried once to start it with the house water supply closed. Of course it stopped after a few seconds. After that time, when I start it, the water pumps works and after some seconds the cycle stops. It gets no water. I've checked and noticed that no water passes through the aquastop valve. The aqua stop has two wires that get into the dishwasher. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for your time Alex
Telmann Dishwasher TEL 12DWM. Dishwasher started to make weird wooshing start-stopping sounds at the beginning of the wash cycle so I stopped it. Since then the lights are on but wont go regardless of where the switch is set to. Have pulled the pump off and the inlet pipes and blown to remove any blockage but still no luck. Cant get into the water jet part due to connectors that require specfic tools to remove and replace. Any thoughts?? thanks in advance, Michael

I have an LG dishwasher, model LDS 5811ww. The machine fills with water, then stops filling when the error code IE comes on. I have cleaned the inlet filter and the whole inside of the tub, by taking apart the sump filter. There is good water pressure filling the tank. When I turn off the power and restart any cycle, the pump will empty the tank, then begin filling the tank again...until it is stopped by the error code IE again coming on. The other thing I notice is the water level in the tub.
