Having problems with your Zanussi ZT485 Built-in Dishwasher ?

I have a Zanussi Fitted dishwasher and I notice that the board under my kitchen seems to be getting black,I think it is the dishwasher leaking water from underneath.. Is there any common problems with this type of dishwasher. Waste pipes leaking etc?? Are they easy to get out of the units and what shoulf I watch out for.

Answers :

Yes sounds like some kind of water leak. Take of the front plinth and check underneath the units and DW. I presume you DW is adjacent to the sink so please cheak all pipes including waste asap. Also opening the DW door whilst it is running can splash water, over a period of time this could effect wood material and cause your problem.

Hi there, The error code 'strong and economy light flicker fleetly' is showing. the manual says that this means too much inlet water. We have drained the machine, cleaned waste pipe and tried to operate with a reduced flow from the inlet pipe but it's still not working. Leaking This is a problem that I have when the dishwasher is in drying mode. I will find a 5X5 and sometimes smaller, size water spot under the dishwasher after the dishwasher has stopped. I was told it was the vent were the steam comes out and I had that replaced. It still leaks, then they told me to replace the rubber around the door, still leaks now they order a whole new plastic interior door.
