Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

My Dishlex global 300's rinse light is flashing after 5 mins use. About 2 inches of water stays at the bottom of the washer. Bought this second hand and it has not been used for a few months. Do I need to fill the reservoir under the washer or lean it at 45 degrees to dislodge anything in the sump. If you have had the problem of the washer starting its program and then stopping after 5 minutes and the rinse light flashing I would appreciate your advice. Cheers Hyph

The flashing rinse light is an error code. I am assuming that your control board is good because the lights are working. I'm also assuming that this model has two pumps. One for filling and one for draining. The rinse light flashing is probably indicating that your drain pump is bad or clogged. This pump would probably run you around $80, and if I were a repair guy, I'd tell you to check some scratch and dent stores for the part or for slightly more you could probably buy a unit that has been repaired.

Before doing that, you can try putting the unit into service mode, to reset the unit, by holding both start and program buttons in until it goes into service mode, and then hold down program until all of the wash selection lights havelit up in turn it goes away for a while.

The service mode allows you to set a 'fill-time' for the water toreach the right level, dependent on the water pressure and flow...which is described in the manual. So resetting the Dishlex is thefirst step. Then set the water level. If the water is too low, it willnot wash, it will flash. When the water is too high, it will leak outof the rubber seal.

The manual for your dishwasher can be found here: http://www.electrolux.com.au/node132.aspx?cat=Dishwashers&subcat=Semi+Integrated%2c+Electronic+%26+Rotary+Controls&id=224

You should refer to the manual for proper directions on resetting the unit.

You might also try removing the bottom metal cover, where you will find a clear plastic box. Un clipit and the flexible hose attached to it. Clean out the sludge, if there is any, and reassemble.

See what happens after that. I hope this helps you.
HI, this low grinding noise you are hearing is the result of a damaged drain pump impeller. It has become separated from the drive stud. When this happens, the motor will continue to damaged the impeller by spinning the stud. this will cause the grinding noise and, it will inhibit proper draining of the waste water as well.

This damage will eventually burn out the motor.

Some models have two impellers inside the pump - one, wash impeller,\015\012takes care of the wash cycles, the other, drain impeller, drains the\015\012water out. If the drain impeller is broken (broken blades, shaft), the\015\012dishwasher would not drain. Replace any broken pump components.

Dishwasher starts and runs to 2nd rinse cycle, when pump starts to pump water out, all lights on front display flash along with key pab lights blinking. you can turn off and restart, but is does the same. Also when I try water service test, I get a Rinse aid fault.

I have an ADG7550 whirlpool dishwasher. Am experiencing a fault when placing on a normal 65 degree programme it starts to fill and then defaults to pre-rinse and the start button and light flash eleven times. Can you explain what type of fault this could be ? I have had a similar problem 12 months ago when it was described as a water pressure problem which again was in the winter and wonder if this is the same. I would add that if I re-set the start button by holding it down and then re-start

Hello, I have a problem with our Miele G646SC Plus dishwasher. It starts its cycle OK, draining out any residual water, taking in fresh water and doing the initial rinse. Hi. Our DS603I dishwasher starts on the Rinse cycle on its own - it beeps, red light flashing and no water entering the tub. It does this even if it is open. Similarly, when we try to turn it on to do a normal or heavy cycle, it starts (making quiet a loud noise) and then goes to the Rinse cycle, beeping, red light flashing, no water going into the tub. The pump wheel is turning. We can't find any blockages in the tubes. We have power-cycled it many times. Please help!

I have tried holding down the right button but it beeps twice and nothing happens? Also tried holding both buttons down for a while and still no success. I got a new electrical board installed not that long ago so not very happy hoping it not a big issue. Do you have any other things that I could maybe do?
