Having problems with your Asko 24 in. D3112 Free-Standing Dishwasher ?

Wont dry Hello, I have the Asko D3112 dishwasher. It washes great, but does not dry completely. After a wash everything is still drenched as if i splashed in a bucked full of water. I know it drains properly (i hear it draining down the sink), and it attempts to dry (hot air). I also am using the rinse aid as specified in the manual. Any tips would help. thank you Andrew

Answers :

Make sure you select a high temp wash and the heated dry as well Also, dont put too many plastic items in there at once, they dont dry very well in anything. Check the amount of soap you are using, it shouldent be more than 2 tablespoons (way less than the dispenser can hold in otherwords. lastly, make sure the weater coming into your dishwasher is hot...you may need to turn up your water heater or run the kitchen faucet hot water til its hot before turning on the dishwasher. you said the fan is working, so i assume you can feel the air flow out of it at the lower left during the dry cycle. if you open the unit after its been running for a half hour or so, see how hot it is inside. Idf its not steaming, you may have a bad heater. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Hope this help!

Magic Chef DU4K is not draining all the water. There's at least a gallon of water standing in the bottom. I have cleaned the air gap assembly and drain line completely. They were even sanitized in hot water. I do not hear the water draining like it use to. When it worked properly you could always hear water draining into the GD. Now I can hear any draining. Again, there is no clogging anywhere in the drain line assembly. Is it a bad pump. I don't know where to go next with this.

Leaking from under dishwasher. Has run great since 1996. Under counter model in manufactured home. Chnaged to drop in pellet dishwasher detergent and it ran great. There is no water inside the dishwasher circular drain. We never use the heating coil to dry the dishes. We have turned off the water supply line under the sink to the dishwasher. After cycle completed, opened door and found water did not drain. i removed the screen at the bottom and used wetvac to **** all the water out. i was also able to hear suction from hose to sink P trap. i'm confident there is no blockage. i attempted to run again only to find out the pump was running but, no water was filling the machine. Frigidaire 2405 Dishwasher has a direct drain into the floor and is too far from the sink to be able to drain into the sink pipes. Can I add a loop of drain hose from the floor drain up to the counter height, about 30", then back to the floor to mimic the loop that would be created by running to the sink drain? I have been told that these new types of dishwashers require water remaining in the pipes to work properly. Thanks, John

I have a Viking dishwasher made by Asko. It is less than 6 months old. Today I had a problem with my disposal (water not draining through it and leaking under the sink) and ran the dishwasher, which cleaned/dried the dishes fine. BUT, since the water was not properly draining from the disposal, apparently the dishwasher was not draining properly either. A repairman came to fix the disposal before I knew about the dishwasher issue. Now, the dishwasher won't turn off "draining mode" - button pu

FDW60 Fault Hi, I have exactly the same problem. My dishwasher starts and washes ok but appears to get very hot during the drying phase and then the two lights fast and eco flash warning of a heater problem. I suspect either the heater, thermostat or control PCB. As the rest of the cycle seems of and the water gets hot then I'm assuming the heater and thermostat are OK. When the dishwasher attempts to dry is when the problem starts. Did anyone find out what there fault was? Thanks

There is gum stuck somewhere in my dishwasher drain line. The water won't go down. I took the inside apart and can see the hole where the drain water goes. I disconnected the drain hose under the sink. I got the water to drain out when there was alot in there, but now it won't drain again. I blew compressed air from a compressor backwards through the hose and it makes a big splash and bubbles inside the dishwasher, but the water still won't go down. I put Boiling hot water and vinager in there t

I have a DU8000XX6 series Kenmore dishwasher that won't drain the water properly. There is about a half inch of water in the tub and the float is raised (not sitting on tub bottom). When I lift up the float a little more I can hear the float switch make. I would assume that when the water is high enough the float switch makes and energizes a solenoid valve in the drain to drain the water, but shouldn't it stay open until all the water drains? We have an Asko 1385 dishwasher. It drains via the same drain into which our kitchen sinks drain. We had a blockage there. When that was fixed we noticed that the dishwasher does not drain properly and does not fill at all yet it seems to go through its cycle. I am wondering if a float switch or some such is stuck but I cannot find one in the bottom of the tub!

My Whirlpool dishwasher will wash fine, but when it drains, it's a slow trickle. I've snaked the line from the sink to the washer, but I can't find a clog. If I try to blow into the drain pipe all I accomplish is almost passing out. I can't blow all the way through it. When I hit the drain button, I hear the solenoid kick on with a rattle, then just a hum. Like I said, I just get a trickle, and the basin never drains completely. It's driving me crazy! Help? Hello, I've got a Bosch dishwasher that is acting really funny. I've had it for 4 years. It's 630 SHE44C06UC model. It powers and I hear it run, but the cycle ends w/ 1 but it runs forever...and doesn't rinse or drain. Cancel drain works, but there are spots. I have rinse agent, it fills, drains, etc. I'm wondering if someone knows how I could reset it before calling a repair man? It doesn't seem to dry either? Any help? Thanks, Steph

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

Dishwasher I am getting a run around with getting my LG dishwasher fixed properly. We had a tech more than once come in and look at our dishwasher. It has not been fixed and never dried the dishes properly. It is now leaking and going to a "del" level when we attempt to wash the dishes. It is also leaking on our fairly new tiled floor and under our new kitchen cabinet. Your tech stated the dishwasher was not installed properly. The installation dept , Francine stated it is not their problem

I've had my Nautilus for 6 years and it cleans very well - but now, it won't drain fully and pools at the bottom of the unit. I have made sure that my garbage disposal was cleared first, too. and that water was draining properly in the sinks. I will need special tools to unscrew the drain filter in the dishwasher, right, or can I just use a pair of pliers to turn the little knobs? I am always careful to rinse all food off the dishes before putting them in the washer, but I guess I wasn't careful

This thing has never drained properly. You have to hit the cancel/drain button a few times for it to finally drain. I don't think it drains completely after wash and before rinse because everything comes out covered in particles that weren't there going in. We've checked the hose, and for stuck food with no luck.
