Having problems with your Bosch 24 in. SHX33A02 / SHX33A06 Free-standing Dishwasher ?

No Power I have a bosch shx33 dishwasher. I just replaced the water valve because of a leak and now I can't start the dishwasher. It's like there is no power to the unit. I know there is power because I get a shock if I touch the two wires that are connected to the water valve. Is there another trip switch or something somewhere?

First let me say that using parts of your body to test for mains electriciy is a VERY VERY bad idea. You are lucky you are not dead. Please do not touch live parts again, get a multimeter or a mains tester.\015\012\015\012If there is mains across the water valve then it should have opened (making a click sound), are you sure you turned the water outlet back on?

I had a problem with my dishwasher popping the breaker. I opened the bottom and found burnt up wires. I fixed those and now the dishwasher stays on and begins its cycle (by draining) but the water is not flowing to the machine. It has supply, and I just now replaced the water inlet valve- no difference. The water was working before the breaker issue. I'm wondering if it is now something as simple as a clog somewhere since the washer sat unused for a month; or, if it is something more compli

I read your previous problem. This appears to be separate problems. The first was likely a loose wire. When a wire has a loose connection they build heat and can melt. The current issue would seem like the float switch is stuck. The float switch is ... Bosch SHU9925UC Built-in Dishwasher

Bosch dishwasher (SXH55MO6UC/46): The power comes on and runs normal, but no water is coming into the unit. I was told that it was a water inlet valve that needs to be replaced (part #263833). I need to know if this is what needs to be replaced and if so, is this something that I can do or do I need an expert repair service to do it? If it is something that I can do, I need instructions. I am handy, but this is something that I have not done before, Thank you, Craig Covey

Hotpoint HDA3400g dishwasher is not running. I have checked to make sure it has power. Took the washer apart, checked that it had power through the door switch to the timer control, all is well. Still not running or getting water into the dishwasher. Any ideas besides replacing the water inlet valve? Will this dishwasher cycle through if it does not have water?

I have no power to the dishwasher. I tried the circuit breaker, flipped it. No lights on, nothing. It must have been running when the power might have gone off, may be the power surged or something and it wasn't able to finish running the cycle. I have taken out all my dishes and washed them by hand but I still have water standing in the bottom of the dishwasher. I am a mechanically challenged mom and my husband won't be getting home for two more weeks. The dishwasher is a WhirlPool Gold Quiet

Dishwasher does not start it seems there's no water coming in the tub. I got a trouble shooting manual from ejunkie.com and tested the coil of the water valve which read 1000 Ohms, which means it's OK. My WHirlpool dishwasher won't drain - basin is full of water. Machine starts and runs the drain cycle, but something is clogged. I opened up the bottom, and pulled off the drain hose to the disposal, and that had no water in it, so the clog is somewhere before the water gets to the hose. If I run the dishwasher drain cycle, it is not pumping water into the hose. What next?

The clog could be in the hose,or on up in the mouth of the drain, air pressure might dislodge the clog,or dissasible of the drain pan in the machine. ... Dishwashers

I have an Asko 1585 dishwasher. It drops the inlet valve on step (step 12), and the recirculation pump (next step) tries to pump with no water. Later at about step 47, the inlet valve begins to work again and the dishwasher finishes the cycle without a problem. I have had the board checked, and all of the power supply and transfer circuits are good. That leaves the processor. Is there any combination of buttons to press which can completely reset the controller board?

Hello, I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher, model KUDS30IVWH3. The dishes have not been getting as clean lately, the bottom is decent but the top rack is not getting very clean. Also, when I open the door after the cycle is done, there's a bunch of detergent at the bottom of the door and on the floor of the dishwasher, like it isn't getting sprayed all over or something. Don't know if I have to check the water intake valve or if maybe the sprayers could be partially clogged.
