Westinghouse Virtuoso 922 dishwasher. Wash cycle completes, but water does not drain out. If I let the cycle continue, after a delay the rinse cycle starts, but of course no clean water is pumped in so the dishes are "rinsed" in the dirty wash water. When I hit "normal" and turn it on, water enters the d/w, and the sprayers (both top and bottom), spray water. Approx. 10 mins. later, the water is drained. At that point, it appears that water never again enters the d/w to complete the wash cycle. In fact, the soap in the dispenser does get released, and the door opens. Dishwasher makes grinding noise during wash cycle (after pre-wash). noise persists for 15-20 minutes. It seems as though the inlet valve doesn't open during this phase of the cycle. adding water to the dishwasher manually eliminates the noise and water circulates through the wash arms. I'm trying to determine if this is a controller issue or a valve/pump issue.
