Having problems with your Neff Dishwashers ?

I have a NEFF dishwasher model SD11XT1F about 18 months old. It smells. I've tried all the book solutions but the smell returns after a couple of days. I can get rid of it by mopping out the small amount of residual waterin the sump, so I'm wondering if it's bacteria in the salt solution reservoir. I've run a programme pumping the waste into a washing up bowl. The water from the first two cycles appears greeny-yellow. Is that OK? Can I clean out the salt somehow and start again, or is it a d

Hi
The smell usually comes when the unit is unable to drain water completely, you can run your dishwasher at its hottest temperature setting with 1 cup of vinegar inside the unit. After this take off the bottom front panel and clean it completely, also clean the drain hose and drain pump filter, the smell should disappear after doing all this. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hello Simon,
\015\012Usually the smell that you get from a frontload washer is a mixture between stagnant water and mold on dishwashers it could be stagnant water and food if you drain line is hooked to the disposal so what the appliance industry did was they came up with a product to remove these smells the product is called AFFRESH and it is sold at home depot's throughout the world they also make a dishwasher version as well and frankly ive used this same product in top loaders to remove fish smells in customers units I can tell you this product works great give it a try and message me back on how it worked out for you others will say to use vinegar and water and yes that sometimes will work but eventually the smell goes away use the affresh for first two loads with no clothes and hotest setting and after that maybe once every two -three months it should usually be used once every three months but if you have hard stagnant or high mineral water then you can use it more often if you have any questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in the future with similar situations Thanks again Rick
\015\012also remove the drain line and check that no food or debris is stuck inside the drain pipe sometimes you have to clean out manually the drain line and where it goes into the drain ive seen these get clogged with food quite often

Over the past two years, the machine has occasionally stopped in mid cycle, while the pump continues to run, but the cycle stops advancing. Each time there has been water in the plastic pan under the pump, valves, and other mechanisms. The float switch has been tripped, stopping the cycle. Occasionally. but not always, the pump inlet has been partially obstructed by food waste. After bailing out the pan, the machine will run normally for weeks or months. I have a similar problem to another person. The drain on the dish drawer was blocked. The unit now shows an F1 error code ( flood?) and the pump runs continuously even after I've unblocked everything. I've tried switching it off for ages and drying everything out. When I switch it on again it shows the wash programme but then reverts to F1 and the pump motor runs continuously. Any ideas to cancel the F1 code?

The flood sensor on this unit is a PC board in the base, so you would need to remove the lower drawer and dry it out under there. If the base is dry and you still have the error, you can take a look at that sensor and clean any corrosion/minerals off ... Fisher and Paykel 23 in. DD-603SS Built-in Dishwasher

Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher (Mod: 665.1373) makes bad noise after the tub fils and the pump starts running. (Not sure how to describe noise.) Bad pump? Other? I have checked for anything obstructing rotating parts and that is definitely not it. My guess is something wrong with the pump, but not sure. If so, I'm wondering what my options are. Like are their common problems with pumps that can be fixed at home? Replacement?

I have a Whirlpool ADG937 dishwasher (9 years old) which will not complete a 65c wash cycle. It starts Ok and runs for a long time but then continually bleeps, when I open the door the programme indicator light is on the rinse cycle. If I reset the programme to 65c it may do the same or occasionally it will finish the cycle. I have tried salt top-up, descaling and filter cleaning all to no avail. Is the programmer faulty (can I bypass it?)or should I replace the washer?

Cranky dishwasher I have to admit my wife's solution is the only one that works. Our ten-year-old Superba built-in usually starts a normal cycle part-way through, at the wash part, without filling or opening the dispenser door. The dishwasher ignores any cancel button push, and the light does not come on over t
