It is not getting any water - Whirlpool DU1030XTXS Dishwasher

Answers :

Hi

\015\012When the Dishwasher is not filling in, you'll need to check for the water inlet valve, the filter screen and the float switch/assembly. Also check for the float assembly inside the dishwasher. When water is filling your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. As the float reaches a certain threshold level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Sometimes it can happen due to float valve and on other occasions due to float switch. Inspect the water hose coming to the dishwasher for any blockages.
If these are fine then it's due to Water Inlet Valve. Use a multimeter and check for the continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Dishwasher I have a whirlpool dishwasher that does not appear to be getting hot water. The washer water is cold initially and only seems to get warm once the heater in the base of the machine heats it. The hot water supply line does not get hot so I presume no water is being supplied. Is the water supposed to be hot at the start. If yes could this be caused be a faulty inlet valve and if so how can I check. The dishes are dirty especially on the top rack. Thanks for your help. Gendos is on track with his question. I have the same dishwasher and it doesn't get enough hot water to clean the dishes and runs for hours because the heating element wasn't designed to heat water, just maintain it. The only solution we have found ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

Our Whirlpool KUDP01ILBS2 dishwasher isn't working like it used to. Dishes seem to be getting partially clean, they aren't getting dry at all and it seems they may be being rinsed/washed with dirty water. There is plenty of water in the machine when I interupt the cleaning cycle. I always run the hot water in the sink before I start the dishwasher so the first water into the dishwasher is as hot as possible. Also the sani-rinse light is flashing when the cycle "completes".

Heat that is retained in the dishes is largely responsible for drying\015\012in this dishwasher. Since plastics do not retain heat very well, they\015\012will not dry as well as glasses, ceramics or metal dishes. Rinse aid\015\012must be used so that ... Dishwashers

Whirlpool DU1101 Hello, My Whirlpool DU1100 is only 1 year old. The dishes are dirtu and the soap doesn't disolve completely My husband is convinvced it is low water pressure, primarily from a leak in the sprinkler system in the park behind our house. I think it is just a clog of some kind preventing the water from getting into the dishwasher fill and/or spray arms. The maunual says you need 20 120 PS to run the dishwasher I doubt it is below 20 PS because of a leak in the park. Is there anyway

I have a Whirlpool DU810SWLQ0 that will not drain. I've pulled the unit out, snaked the drain tube, pulled the motor/pump, and pipe assemblies, and cleaned the food trap, which I also removed. I've run the dishwasher with a bit of bleach, and the water will pump in, get processed by the agitator, and be heated. When the rinse cycle comes, dishes get covered in food, and are never clean. Waste water was being used for a clean rinse. I've run the dishwasher with the drain dangling in a bucket,

My WHirlpool dishwasher won't drain - basin is full of water. Machine starts and runs the drain cycle, but something is clogged. I opened up the bottom, and pulled off the drain hose to the disposal, and that had no water in it, so the clog is somewhere before the water gets to the hose. If I run the dishwasher drain cycle, it is not pumping water into the hose. What next?

The clog could be in the hose,or on up in the mouth of the drain, air pressure might dislodge the clog,or dissasible of the drain pan in the machine. ... Dishwashers

Dishwasher: Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner. Has worked fine until had a house plumbing blockage which made water pool in the bottom of the dishwasher as well as kitchen sink. Tried to get it to drain at first using keypad. Drain light clicked on and then off because there was nowhere for water to do. Manually emptied most of the water, then "Cancel/Drain" worked if I held it down quite a while. House plumbing is now fixed. However the keypad only works sporadically now. Some buttons do so

Whirlpool dishwasher doesn't seem to fill with enough water despite good water pressure. Therefore, pump sounds like it is cycling from pumping water for about 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds to pumping water for 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds, etc. Spray arms rotate only for the 2 seconds when pump is actually pumping water. Dishes do not get clean.

I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher in either July or August 2009 from Best Buy. It is not cleaning all my dishes. I have tried 3 different types of soap--the packets that came with it; powder; and liquid hoping that it would work. I have loaded light and heavy. I have tried the normal and light settings with rinse, hot water or not. They are just not getting clean. And the dispensers are not totally emptying. I already had to have a new dishwasher sent because the first one was damaged on
